2018 Dodge SRT Demon One Ups Hellcat to Become Most Powerful Muscle Car

When it comes to offering the world’s most powerful performance coupe, Dodge didn’t wait for the competition to have their say before one-upping themselves. While the SRT Hellcat unleashed in 2015 set the bar, the 2018 SRT Demon unveiled in New York last week raises it to nigh unassailable heights.

First, the numbers. The Challenger SRT Demon houses the Hellcat’s 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8, with upgraded components and tuning to produce 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft of torque. After shedding 200 lbs. from every corner, it can make the sprint to 60 miles per-hour in 2.3 seconds, while smashing the quarter-mile in just under ten seconds. The SRT Demon packs so much grunt, in fact, that even its torque-limiting hardware can’t keep it from popping a modest wheelie off the line!

Insane as that may sound, it’s all street legal. And it’s coming soon to our Dodge dealership in Altus, OK. To learn about how you can get behind the wheel, contact us at your convenience. We can also set you up to test drive any of our other available offerings.
